This listing concerns a B2B wholesale e-commerce website, not a fair or retail website. When you want to wholesale bulk orders or customize products, going to the wrong website wastes time and is confusing.
Before I started, there were many articles on wholesale B2B listings websites; as a Chinese person with 10 years of export experience, we wanted to help you save time and correct some wrong listings. I read most listing articles and was surprised that Globalsource did not write the right content; just making a long listing confuses beginners. We need good and correct content, not just long 20 listings, which are useless. Here is our list. 1. B2B wholesale website. 2. China B2C retailer website. 3. Local Chinese B2C retailer website.
The biggest B2B wholesale website also has some sellers from other contury, while most sellers are still in China. Founded in 1999 by Jack Ma, it has over 20+ years of history.
What’s the membership fee per year? It is 39800 RMB( 5700USD) for the Glad supplier, and 89800RMB (12800USD) for the certified supplier.
They have great advantages in the Vest products category: more supplier can compare prices, fast response ( Cause they will review their response rate), Safe payment terms, and use the Alibaba trade assurance order to protect. I visited and talked with some trade businessmen; they do not like Alibaba; they think it has too much fake info and quality issues; they prefer Carton Fair, while Alibaba is still the best No1 website when you want to source products from China.
Here are some cons we should let you know.

Because Alibaba is big and better in China, most faculty only have it, so Made in China does not have that supplier and factory. They have one good name. It can be one option while collecting new info and finding a new supplier.
What’s the membership fee per year? It is 31100 RMB( 4500USD) for a Glad supplier and 89800RMB (8559USD) for a Diamond supplier. It is cheaper than Alibaba.

Global Source has been a Hong Kong-based B2B platform since 1971. It has many verified suppliers. Their advantage is that they have online and offline integration. They have HK Globalsource fair.

Founded in 2004, DHgate is a leading B2B cross-border e-commerce platform connecting global buyers with Chinese manufacturers and wholesalers. It specializes in electronics, apparel, and home goods, offering low MOQs and secure transactions for SMEs.

5. Aliexpress
Launched in 2010 under the Alibaba Group, AliExpress is a global B2C platform targeting consumers with affordable products in fashion, electronics, and household items. It supports multiple languages and currencies, though logistics can be slow.
Aliexpress is still a good solution for drop shippers. Once you have regular orders daily, try to find a good dropshipping agent. The Aliexpress seller can not take your order carefully and in a timely manner, and the package will be shown as shipped from Aliexpress.

6. 1688
Established in 2010 as part of Alibaba Group, 1688.com focuses on domestic B2B wholesale in China. It provides direct access to manufacturers with competitive pricing but requires Chinese language proficiency.

1688, we think, is a good tool to optimize your supply chain. It’s the B2B site where most Chinese companies will source from, for example, Chinese Amazon sellers, Chinese Alibaba traders, Chinese TEMU Aliexpress, and SHENINM TIKTOK sellers; if you want to get the best price, you need to go to at least 1688 to compare, before making the final decision.
This feels like the secret behind Alibaba. Some experienced sellers will find a sourcing agent to help them purchase and arrange shipping in 1688, saving them time and money. The biggest problem with 1688 is the language: It’s in Chinese, and the sellers don’t speak English.

Yiwugo is the online platform for Yiwu International Trade City, a massive physical wholesale market in Zhejiang, China. While its exact founding year is unclear, the platform serves global buyers with diverse products like hardware and textiles, offering low MOQ.
For B2B, my list is just over. Use those websites, and you can find 98% of your sourcing requirements. There is no need for more listings, but they are useless.
China B2C Retailer website and app
I saw someone recommend TEMU, Shenin, Alexpress, and TikTok. Why do you not recommend this? Let me make it clear: this is called GO Overseas Four Dragons. I don’t know why.” : ) They are B2C websites. Retalier website. Let’s see what third parties Trustpilot say
- High price: It is not the seller’s fault because those retailers’ platforms need to add profit, order commission, ad cost, and warehouse cost, not that competitive shipping cost.
- It cannot be customized; you will receive the package with TEMU or Aliexpress choice. If you are dropshipping, it will be one problem, and you will get a refund.
- Can not communicate with the seller, Full hosting model, we can not contact the direct seller. We can not change the package and accessories or contact you for delivery time. You can buy them wholesale, Like adding 50 or 100 to the card and paying it directly; it is convenient to pay under 100 for a small wholesale order, while if you order exceeds 500USD, let’s use a B2B website or find a sourcing agent,
Temu is found by July 2022 Colin Huang, it is one Chinese E-commerce PDD holding, The ads Shop like a Billlionaire. Some items are real cheap, while some quality is really not good, you can serch get some short video about their quality. I know some companies are dropshipping and changing the package and reselling on some e-commerce platforms like TikTok. While bulk order not that good.

Famous to known fast fashion global e-commerce platform, but for now, it extends to all categories. They have a really strong supply Chain for fast fashion, and quality is good. Finding their supplier can be one good solution when you want to import Cloth from China. Just like TEMU, it is not friendly for wholesale
They were built really early in 2010. They are a Global marketplace to buy directly from China. In order to face the challenge from Temu and Shenin, they made a Choice channel. The shipping time is better. While there will be a Choice logo on the package, it is not good for dropshipping. For wholesale, it has one express business area. You can buy small wholesale and dropship directly.
But on Trustpilot, it seems not a good review on Aliexpress.
Most oversellers will use the TikTok app for short videos, but the shop experience is not that good, so let’s forget it when you want to wholesale or import from China.
Some medium-sized B2C retailers in China.
I also saw someone recommend some big retailers like Banggood, Gearbest, Chinabrand, and LightInTheBox Tomtop. They are just bigger B2C retailer sellers. Most came from Shenzhen, and we are in the same city. Drop shipping or a small 5-10pc order is one option. If you want bulk sourcing, let’s forget about this.
Banggood has a good review on Trustpilot; they are good to know that, not bad.
There are no good reviews, and only 85 reviews on that, which is not good for the retailer and not good for wholesale
Please check the result before buying from it.
As one very early Big Ecommerce seller, they are still doing good. Not friendly for wholesale, but strong recommend for personal use.
It’s not bad for retail e-commerce; it’s just not suitable for wholesale.
Some local Chinese retail website and app
OK, finally, someone recommends Taobao, Tmall, and Pinduoduo. This is most interesting; they recommend some local Chinese use retail apps for overseas businessmen; only Pinduoduo is one option in some cases; the other two websites don’t go there wholesale. They are Chinese versions of Amazon and TEMU, with no B2B solution.
Chinese Local retail e-commerce, same Group with Albiaba, 1688, and Tmall, both were founded by Jack Ma,
High-level Taobao has bigger brands and companies. Also, Chinese Local retail e-commerce,
Pinduoduo has the same company as TEMU but only a target from China; Pinduoduo can use small wholesale, and sometimes they are cheaper than in 1688.
Founded by Qiangdong Liu, Chinese Amazon offers faster delivery and high-quality products. Their best category is 3C, which consumes electronics.
For this list, just forget it; you will not use it when you are really sourcing products from China,
To summarise
If you want to import from China and ship bulk, just use Alibaba, which is made in China, and Globalsource. If you want to find a better price than those top 3, go to 1688 or find one sourcing agent. And if you don’t have time and experience, you can find one sourcing agent who knows the Chinese market very well; they offer a transparent fee and will help you a lot.
